Monik is a professional makeup artist based out of Parksville who has recently relocated from Toronto. Certified since 2009, she has a wide and diverse skill set ranging from beauty and prosthetic makeup to hairstyling. As a member of the prestigious I.A.T.S.E. local 873, Monik has worked on shows such as Star Trek Discovery, American Gods, and Handmaids Tale.

Monik was among the talented makeup artists on the team nominated for an Emmy in September 2021 in the category of Outstanding Period And/or Character Makeup (non-prosthetic) for Star Trek Discovery season 3 - Episode 'Terra Firma; part 2', and had the opportunity to attend the Emmy awards ceremony.

Seeking greater work-life balance in 2020, Monik made a conscious decision to prioritize her family while also pursuing her passion for making people feel beautiful through makeup, with a particular focus on the bridal industry. 

During her free time, she takes pleasure in exploring the forest with her loved ones, expressing herself through art by painting, and broadening her knowledge in skincare. She is always looking for ways to make a positive impact in other people's lives.

Kenya is a makeup artist based out of Port Alberni. She spent her childhood living in Vancouver where she grew up acting in the film industry; this is where her fascination with makeup began. Whether is was a simple touch up; or having prosthetics applied, she knew this art would grow to become her passion.

Years later she got her first job as a makeup artist at Sephora; where she developed her understanding of products, application and skincare. During this time she fell in love with makeup for events, and started her journey into the world of freelancing.

In 2017, she graduated from the esteemed John Casablancas Institute; where she obtained her diploma with honours in the makeup artistry program. Shortly after; she moved to the island to continue her work in the bridal industry, while also starting a family.

Kenya's love for makeup is evident in her work; where she strives to create looks that are personalized to each client's unique style and personality. She has an eye for detail; and a passion for enhancing natural beauty.

Holly is an experienced hair stylist and makeup artist who recently moved from out east a few years ago. She is a wife, mother and someone who is passionately driven to inspire other women. We are so excited for all of you to get to know her and fall in love as we have.
