DEEP, DARK WOODS. An intriguing mix of sultry and masculine, this 100% soy wax candle is handcrafted in small batches at P.F. Candle Co. in Southern California. P.F. Candle Co. is a Los Angeles-based fragrance company owned and operated by wife-and-husband team Kristen Pumphrey and Thomas Neuberger, who keep their ingredients simple: domestically grown soy wax, fine fragrance oils and cotton-core wicks. Notes of leather, spicy black pepper and tobacco mingle with the sweetness of pipe tobacco when burned. Orange and berry soften a base of aged teak and sandalwood, blended with a hint of muskiness from patchouli essential oil. Each scented candle is hand-poured into an apothecary-inspired amber jar, finished with a utilitarian label and twist-on brass lid.
